Orlando Colmenero vs Brett Baccay

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Rizal Memoria Coliseum, Manila,  taking place on 21/01/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Philippines-NCR Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ABS Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Orlando Colmenero (16(10) - 1) who hails from Caloocan, Philippines and Brett Baccay(23 - 3) from Quezon City, Philippines.  Both Colmenero and Baccay weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Morgan Palangdao, and the three ringside judges are Rob Picado, Dom Dajao and Owen Acero.  

Round 1: 

Colmenero feints a right hook, and then lands a jab to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Baccay recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Baccay steps to the outside.  Baccay quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Colmenero lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Baccay finds the target with a spiteful jab.

Colmenero is looking to close the distance and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Colmenero ties up his opponent.  Colmenero pushes his forearm into Baccay's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Colmenero.

Colmenero steps inside.  Baccay pivots to the side of his opponent.  Colmenero tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Colmenero lands a solid right hook.  
Baccay drives a left hook into Colmenero's ribs.  
Baccay is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with a cross.  
Colmenero closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Baccay is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Baccay feints a left, and then connects with a cross.  
Colmenero gets on the inside.  Baccay throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Colmenero is on target with a right hook.  
Colmenero gets on the inside.  Colmenero sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Baccay is on target with a right hook to Colmenero's body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Baccay.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.

Colmenero throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Colmenero dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Colmenero forces Baccay to retreat onto the ropes.  Colmenero connects with a stinging left uppercut.  
Colmenero lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Baccay almost instantly recovers.

The winner by TKO is Colmenero!
