Mick Verwoerd vs Alexis Van Schalkwyk

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxers promoted show at gelvandale sports ground, Port Elizabeth,  taking place on 20/01/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mick Verwoerd (18(4) - 6(4) - 1) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Alexis Van Schalkwyk(5 - 6 - 1 - 1(NC)) from Khayelitsha, South Africa.  Both Verwoerd and Van Schalkwyk weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Udenwa Kpegah, and the three ringside judges are Ewan Nyauza, Chris Matata and Rob Tshiepela.  

Round 1:
