Sam Nesmith vs Ian Niece

Boxing Daily Report from the Asamoah Promotions promoted show at Gaineau Boag, Gaineau,  taking place on 23/12/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Quebec Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Nesmith (23(1) - 6(2) - 1) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Ian Niece(16 - 14(3) - 4) from Quebec City, Canada.  Nesmith weighed in at 244 pounds and 7 ounces, while Niece weighed in at 256 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Stephen Morton, and the three ringside judges are Carvell Brame, Phil Pearce and Sid Leys.  

Round 1: 

Nesmith advances into close range and hits home with a right hook.
