Willamar Gerig vs Adolphus Peel

Boxing Daily Report from the Cherkoian Promotions promoted show at Hanover Matzen, Hanover,  taking place on 26/12/2033:

Clearly Cherkoian Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Germany-Lower Saxony Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Willamar Gerig (5 - 13 - 3) who hails from Hanover, Germany and Adolphus Peel(5 - 20 - 2) from Hanover, Germany.  Gerig weighed in at 147 pounds, while Peel weighed in at 146 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jaye Dehner, and the three ringside judges are Bernardyn Matti, Ivo Giedd and Baltasar Markert.  

Round 1: 

Gerig is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with a cross.

That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Peel.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Gerig wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Peel dabs at his face checking for damage.
