Brendan Persley vs Max Cornog

Boxing Daily Report from the Peanut Promotions promoted show at Mulroy Civic Center Carrier Theater, Syracuse,  taking place on 18/12/2033:

Clearly Peanut Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Brendan Persley (1 - 0) who hails from Savannah, USA and Max Cornog(1 - 2) from Nashville, USA.  Persley weighed in at 200 pounds, while Cornog weighed in at 199 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Matthew Doyle, and the three ringside judges are Joey Duffie, Zach Moriarty and Valerio De Silvestri.  

Round 1: 

Persley pivots from in front of his opponent andAs the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Cornog dabs at his face checking for damage.

Persley pivots to the right of his opponent.  Persley is on target with a jab.  Persley throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Persley closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
