Euan Meloni vs Charlie Pew

Boxing Daily Report from the Goldie Bunzworth promoted show at New York City Lynch, New York City,  taking place on 26/12/2033:

Clearly Goldie Bunzworth have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-New York State Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Euan Meloni (21 - 13(2) - 7) who hails from New York City, USA and Charlie Pew(8 - 26 - 9) from New York City, USA.  Meloni weighed in at 134 pounds and 10 ounces, while Pew weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Hughes, and the three ringside judges are Mark Winstone, Cristiano Grimaldi and Phil Graden.  

Round 1: 

Pew advances into close range and manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  As Meloni tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Pew has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Pew sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Meloni connects with a cross.  
Pew closes the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Pew cuts off the ring, trapping Meloni in a neutral corner.  Meloni throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Pew lands a jab.  
Pew closes the distance.  Pew sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Meloni connects with a left hook.  
Meloni is on target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Meloni's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Meloni's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Pew's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
