Kyo Takamoto vs Shin Shimada

Boxing Daily Report from the Koranteng Promotions promoted show at Kei Kurokawa Gym, Sapporo,  taking place on 28/12/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kyo Takamoto (7 - 9 - 2) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Shin Shimada(8 - 3 - 1) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Takamoto and Shimada weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Raiden Sera, and the three ringside judges are Aki Mizuno, Kyo Minami and Nori Itoh.  

Round 1: 

Shimada gets on the inside.  Shimada pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Shimada is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Shimada quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Takamoto sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.
