Rob Rainey vs John Morison

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at California Memorial Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 15/03/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Razer Rob Rainey (41(33) - 0) who hails from El Paso, USA and John Morison(23(3) - 5(2)) from Denver, USA.  Rainey weighed in at 230 pounds and 3 ounces, while Morison weighed in at 242 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alen Pryor, and the three ringside judges are Mark Rielly, Juan Espin and Ashley Nesmith.  

Round 1: 

Morison steps inside.  Rainey is on target with a stinging left hook to Morison's ribs.  
Rainey steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Rainey switches the action to the outside and lands a sharp jab.  
Rainey lands a jab to the body, an overhand right to the head and a jab to the head.  Rainey attempts to land a jab, but Morison slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Rainey lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Morison manages to force Rainey onto the ropes.  Rainey connects with a sharp cross.

Rainey steps away from his opponent and lands a stinging cross.  
Morison is looking to close the distance and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.

Rainey is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Morison pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Morison connects with a right hook.  
Morison lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Rainey tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a jab.  
Rainey is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a hard jab.  
Rainey lands an overhand right.  
Rainey lands a jab to the head, a jab to the body and an overhand right to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Rainey is looking to force the stoppage!  Rainey lands two straights followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands two right uppercut's to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND DROPS MORISON TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Morison now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Morison digs in a right hook to Rainey's body.

Rainey is looking to keep the action on the outside and DETONATES a hurtful overhand left on his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE MORISON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Morison almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Morison steps inside.  Morison pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into Rainey's body.  
Rainey steps to the outside and is on target with a stinging cross to Morison's body.  
Rainey finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Morison walks Rainey onto the ropes.  Rainey lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Morison steps to the outside.  Rainey lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a jab, overhand left and an overhand right to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Rainey senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Rainey lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS MORISON!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  It looks like Morison has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Rainey lands a cross.  
Rainey tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Rainey connects with a spiteful cross.  MORISON IS HURT!  Morison quickly recovers. 
Rainey steps away from his opponent and lands a jab, cross and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Rainey lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Rainey quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Morison tries to land a jab, but Rainey blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Rainey lands a jab, right hook and a jab to his opponents head.  
Morison is looking to close the distance.  Rainey is on target with a left hook.  
Morison pivots to the right of his opponent.  Rainey lands a sharp jab.  
Rainey lands a solid cross.  
Rainey sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand right to the head.  
Morison steps inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Morison finds the target with a jab.  
Morison advances into close range and is on target with a left uppercut to Rainey's body.  Morison attempts to land a left hook, but Rainey sidesteps and counters with a powerful left hook.  MORISON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Morison switches the action to the outside.  Rainey is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Rainey lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND MORISON IS DOWN!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Rainey!
