Chris Kenneson vs Jake Cappola

Boxing Daily Report from the Steel City Boxing promoted show at Temple University McGonigle Hall, Philadelphia,  taking place on 25/01/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mid Atlantic Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Kenneson (19 - 12 - 4) who hails from New York City, USA and Jake Cappola(15 - 14(1) - 7) from New York City, USA.  Kenneson weighed in at 129 pounds and 11 ounces, while Cappola weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richard Finnegan, and the three ringside judges are Stuart Briar, Sam Doig and John Gorry.  

Round 1: 

Kenneson lands an overhand right.  Kenneson attempts to land a cross, but Cappola sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Cappola hits home with an overhand right.  
Kenneson tries to keep the action at long range.  Cappola feints a left hook, and then is on target with a cross.

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Cappola has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Cappola tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Kenneson's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Cappola's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.
