Lazar Kornilov vs Gennady Balakshin

Boxing Daily Report from the Rahman Promotions promoted show at Nizhny Novgorod Chaplin, Nizhny Novgorod,  taking place on 04/01/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Russia-Nizhny Novgorod Oblast Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Russia, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lazar Kornilov (27 - 6(2) - 1) who hails from Nizhny Novgorod, Russia and Gennady Balakshin(12(8) - 2(1)) from Dzerzhinsk, Russia.  Both Kornilov and Balakshin weighed in at 147 pounds.
