Barry Turnley vs Edmondo Grifone

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Andersonstown lesuire centre, Belfast,  taking place on 24/01/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Barry Turnley (11(6) - 0) who hails from Nottingham, UK and Edmondo Grifone(10 - 9 - 5) from Turin, Italy.  Both Turnley and Grifone weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Hastie, and the three ringside judges are Duncan McRay, Josh Brannon and Ian Casey.  

Round 1: 

Turnley steps inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Turnley hits home with a cross.  
Turnley lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Turnley connects with a firm right uppercut.  
Grifone throws a left uppercut, but Turnley holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Turnley pushes his forearm into Grifone's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Turnley.  
Turnley lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Turnley ties up his opponent.  Turnley leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Turnley lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Turnley closes the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Turnley has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Turnley advances into close range.  Turnley quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Grifone attempts to land a right hook, but Turnley slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Turnley gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Turnley drives a firm right hook into Grifone's body.  Turnley clinches his opponent.  Grifone tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Turnley behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Grifone to stop fouling.  Turnley throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Grifone steps inside.  Turnley drives a right hook into Grifone's ribcage.  
Turnley hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Grifone advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Turnley lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Grifone's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Turnley feints a cross, but Grifone is not fooled and is on target with a cross.  
Turnley digs in a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Grifone feints a left, and then throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Turnley is on target with a jab.  
Turnley drives a sharp left hook into Grifone's liver.  
Turnley is looking to close the distance and drives a telling left hook into his opponents body.  GRIFONE IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Grifone manages to force Turnley onto the ropes.  Grifone lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Turnley steps inside and drives a right uppercut into Grifone's ribs.  
Turnley drives a solid left uppercut into Grifone's body.  
Turnley hits home with a left hook.  
Turnley steps inside and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  He then lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Turnley forces Grifone to back into the ropes.  Turnley sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Turnley lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Turnley hits home with a sharp left hook.
