Chris Wren vs Michael Hay

Boxing Daily Report from the Steel City Boxing promoted show at Temple University McGonigle Hall, Philadelphia,  taking place on 09/01/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Pennsylvania Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Wren (20 - 14 - 4) who hails from Philadelphia, USA and Michael Hay(17(2) - 2) from Philadelphia, USA.  Wren weighed in at 130 pounds, while Hay weighed in at 129 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sam Fenty, and the three ringside judges are Sammy Duchamp, Richard Finnegan and Theo Abbey.  

Round 1: 

Hay feints a left hook, and then connects with an overhand right.  
Wren quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hay is on target with a cross.  Hay attempts to land a cross, but Wren dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Hay gets on the inside.  Hay pivots to the side of his opponent.  Wren lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Wren gets on the inside.  Hay lands a left hook.  
Hay lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Hay is on target with an overhand right.  
Hay drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Hay lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hay dabs at his face checking for damage.
