Macario Cortez vs Hernan Carolus

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Chihuahua promoted show at Kavuta Gym, Juarez,  taking place on 07/01/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Chihuahua Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Macario Cortez (11(1) - 3 - 2) who hails from Chihuahua, Mexico and Hernan Carolus(9 - 7 - 4) from Chihuahua, Mexico.  Cortez weighed in at 140 pounds, while Carolus weighed in at 139 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Angel Morales, and the three ringside judges are Jose Espina, Rodrigo Gil and Quiqui Menor.
