Harper Mehl vs Ingvar Martinson

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at National Stadium, Dublin,  taking place on 15/01/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Harper Mehl (21(18) - 0) who hails from Oslo, Norway and Ingvar Martinson(19 - 15(1) - 5) from Aalborg, Denmark.  Both Mehl and Martinson weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lee Taggart, and the three ringside judges are Killian Bourne, Paul MacKenna and Eoghan Markey.  

Round 1:

Mehl gets on the inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Mehl clinches his opponent.  Mehl leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mehl drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Mehl lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mehl forces Martinson to back into the ropes.  Mehl lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Mehl ties up his opponent.  Mehl is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mehl throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Mehl clinches his opponent.  Mehl leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Mehl's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Mehl steps inside.  Martinson pivots from in front of his opponent.  Mehl drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Mehl cuts off the ring, trapping Martinson in the red corner.  Mehl digs in a stinging left uppercut to Martinson's ribs.  Mehl clinches his opponent.  Mehl tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Martinson's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mehl drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Mehl steps inside and is on target with a left hook to Martinson's liver.  
Mehl gets on the inside.  Mehl pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the body.

Mehl gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mehl advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Martinson's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Martinson's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Martinson's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Mehl lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Mehl forces Martinson to back into a corner.  Mehl senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Martinson and just needs the right shot.  Mehl is on target with a weighty right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  MARTINSON IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.

Martinson tries to keep the action at long range and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Mehl manages to force Martinson into the red corner.  Mehl lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Mehl knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Mehl lands a cross, right hook and a cross to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  The winner by KO is Mehl!
