Antoine Percier vs Sam Porter

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Maison du Citoyen, Gaineau,  taking place on 02/03/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Antoine Percier (17 - 0) who hails from Gaineau, Canada and Sam Porter(31 - 14(5) - 4) from Ottawa, Canada.  Both Percier and Porter weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Louis Gillespie, and the three ringside judges are Launcelot Rozenthal, Briant Sarraute and Henry Popkin.  

Round 1: 

Porter is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Porter is on target with a cross.  Porter throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Porter advances into close range and tries to land a right hook, but Percier blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Porter is on target with a cross.  Porter attempts to land a left hook, but Percier blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Porter tries to keep the action at long range and throws an overhand left, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Porter lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Porter steps inside and drives a left uppercut into Percier's body.  
Percier steps to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Porter advances into close range.  Percier lands a solid left hook.  
Percier pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Porter quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Porter lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Porter throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Porter closes the distance.  Percier wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
