Denton Curvis vs Joe Sligh

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Revel Fulton Market, Chicago,  taking place on 11/02/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Denton Curvis (17 - 0) who hails from Las Vegas, USA and Joe Sligh(17 - 14(1) - 4) from Greeley, USA.  Both Curvis and Sligh weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cody Cockburn, and the three ringside judges are Chris Gittins, Kenzie Neily and Richie Janos.  

Round 1: 

Curvis lands a left hook.  
Sligh switches the action to the outside.  Curvis lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Curvis gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Curvis digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Sligh steps away from his opponent.  Curvis throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sligh hits home with a cross.  
Sligh is looking to keep his distance.  Sligh sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Curvis hits home with an overhand right.
