Jerrold Veras vs Jose Lizardo

Boxing Daily Report from the Habe Promotions promoted show at Quito Collar, Quito,  taking place on 17/01/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ecuador Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jerrold Veras (21 - 15(3) - 4) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Jose Lizardo(14(1) - 4) from Quito, Ecuador.  Veras weighed in at 168 pounds, while Lizardo weighed in at 167 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Luis Mazariegos, and the three ringside judges are Hernan Alameda, Cortez Laverde and Cris Lainez.  

Round 1: 

Veras is on target with a cross.  
Lizardo is on target with a left hook to Veras's body.
