Jordan Asuncion vs Lewis Strother

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Bren Events Center, Irvine,  taking place on 11/03/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-California Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jordan Asuncion (37(13) - 3 - 1) who hails from Long Beach, USA and Lewis Strother(18 - 9(6) - 4) from Modesto, USA.  Both Asuncion and Strother weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Josh Beltran, and the three ringside judges are Obaid Abdelnour, Mark Pizarro and Spencer Lenney.  

Round 1: 

Asuncion closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Asuncion holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Asuncion pushes his forearm into Strother's face.  The referee warns Asuncion and breaks the clinch.
