Jake Redhead vs Mark Hillin

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Gym, Brisbane,  taking place on 15/01/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jake Redhead (2 - 0) who hails from Wollongong, Australia and Mark Hillin(2 - 1 - 1) from Sunshine Coast, Australia.  Both Redhead and Hillin weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Scott Martin, and the three ringside judges are Mark Elgin, Sammy Feamster and Darryl Maletin.  

Round 1: 

Redhead is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right uppercut to Hillin's body.  
Redhead lands a left hook.  
Hillin sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Hillin tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hillin tries to keep the action at long range.  Redhead feints a jab, but Hillin ignores the feint and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Redhead advances into close range and is on target with a firm right uppercut.  Redhead holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Redhead pushes his forearm into Hillin's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Redhead digs in a right hook to Hillin's body.  
Hillin tries to land a cross, but Redhead sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Redhead digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hillin throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Redhead forces Hillin to retreat onto the ropes.  Redhead lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Redhead drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  As Hillin tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Redhead dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Redhead.  That has caused a slight cut .  
Redhead lands a left hook.  
Redhead walks Hillin onto the ropes.  Redhead lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Redhead quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Redhead closes the distance.  Redhead digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Redhead holds on to his opponent.  Redhead is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Redhead is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Redhead.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hillin dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Hillin pivots to the side of his opponent.  Redhead digs in a right hook to Hillin's ribcage.  Redhead clinches his opponent.  Redhead leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Redhead lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Redhead lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hillin's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Hillin's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Hillin steps away from his opponent.  Redhead lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Redhead is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Redhead hits home with a left hook.  
Redhead lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hillin switches the action to the outside.  Redhead lands a jab.  
Redhead closes the distance and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.
