Daniel Handyside vs Witi Peraniko

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Leas, Christchurch,  taking place on 31/01/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daniel Handyside (13 - 12 - 6 - 1(NC)) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Witi Peraniko(2 - 8 - 1) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Handyside weighed in at 112 pounds, while Peraniko weighed in at 111 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Lawman, and the three ringside judges are Kahorere Keno, Joshua Dallis and Michael Breck.

Handyside pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Peraniko walks his opponent down, trapping him in the red corner.  Peraniko is on target with a cross to his opponents body.  
As Peraniko tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Handyside dabs at his face checking for damage.

Handyside steps inside.  As Handyside tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Peraniko.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Peraniko leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Handyside's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
