Ali Sadiq vs Afanas Eldarov

Boxing Daily Report from the Kamwendo Promotions promoted show at Toshkent Nadirov, Toshkent,  taking place on 02/02/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uzbekistan-Toshkent Shahri Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ali Sadiq (15 - 14 - 3) who hails from Toshkent, Uzbekistan and Afanas Eldarov(2 - 18 - 2) from Toshkent, Uzbekistan.  Both Sadiq and Eldarov weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bayram Mattar, and the three ringside judges are Ashraf Dzhevanshir, Mikhail Baikodamoff and Boris Nuriev.  

Round 1: 

Sadiq closes the distance.  Eldarov lands a right hook.  Eldarov wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Sadiq has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Sadiq lands a cross.
