Boxing Daily Report from the Apple Pie Boxing promoted show at Palacio de los Deportes, Bogota,  taking place on 25/02/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SportsSat, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ponce Verdejo (17(14) - 1) who hails from Manta, Ecuador and Jerrold Santin(11 - 4(3) - 3) from Barranquilla, Colombia.  Verdejo weighed in at 125 pounds And 9 ounces, while Santin weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rio Lopez, and the three ringside judges are Rio Lastra, Manny Soza and Rodrigo Villano.

Verdejo steps to the outside.  Santin sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Verdejo hits home with a solid cross.  
Santin steps inside.  Verdejo drives a left hook into Santin's body.  
Verdejo is looking to keep his distance and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Verdejo throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  Santin almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Santin attempts to land a jab, but Verdejo sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook to Santin's body.  
Verdejo steps to the outside and finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Verdejo lands a FEROCIOUS cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE SANTIN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Verdejo is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Verdejo lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut, left hook and a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS SANTIN SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Santin now seems to have got his legs back.

Santin is looking to close the distance.  Verdejo senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Verdejo DETONATES a big left uppercut on his opponents face.  SANTIN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Santin has now recovered from that shot earlier.
