Mike Taylor vs Joe Lannon

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Revel Fulton Market, Chicago,  taking place on 11/02/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Illinois Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mike Taylor (20 - 11(1) - 2) who hails from Chicago, USA and Joe Lannon(15 - 9 - 7) from Chicago, USA.  Both Taylor and Lannon weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cody Cockburn, and the three ringside judges are Chris Gittins, Kenzie Neily and Richie Janos.  

Round 1: 

Lannon walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Taylor hits home with a right hook.  
Taylor is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a cross.
