Duncan Arbuthnot vs Rich Waltari

Boxing Daily Report from the Kugblenu Promotions promoted show at Sammy Peairs Gym, Grand Rapids,  taking place on 07/02/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Michigan Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Duncan Arbuthnot (11 - 11) who hails from Detroit, USA and Rich Waltari(18(3) - 2) from Grand Rapids, USA.  Both Arbuthnot and Waltari weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leon Russell, and the three ringside judges are Leeroy Shedden, Lewis Chiens and Cole Quigg.  

Round 1: 

Arbuthnot steps to the outside and connects with an overhand right.  
Waltari is looking to close the distance.  Waltari sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Waltari lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Waltari holds on to his opponent.  Waltari pushes his forearm into Arbuthnot's face.  The referee warns Waltari and breaks the clinch.  
Waltari digs in a left hook to Arbuthnot's ribs.  
Waltari throws a left uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Waltari holds on to his opponent.  Waltari uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Arbuthnot behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
