Lucas Argan vs Ian Houp

Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at 1300SMILES Stadium, Townsville,  taking place on 11/03/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Commonwealth Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Lucas Argan (18(15) - 1(1) - 1) who hails from Geelong, Australia and Ian Houp(24(12) - 8(5) - 1) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Argan and Houp weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Rabb, and the three ringside judges are Richie Higgins, Barry Forbes and Bart Albert.  

Round 1:

Houp throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a big cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE HOUP WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Houp quickly recovers.

Argan tries to step out of his opponents range.  Argan sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a mean overhand right.  HOUP WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Houp quickly recovers.

Houp is looking to close the distance and tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a telling left hook.  HOUP IS HURT!  
Argan switches the action to the outside.  Argan knows Houp is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Argan lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND HOUP IS DOWN!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Argan!
