Frisco Rapoza vs Angel Serra

Boxing Daily Report from the Ankomah Promotions promoted show at Ora Vieyra Gym, Brasilia,  taking place on 14/02/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Distrito Federal Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Frisco Rapoza (31 - 10(2) - 7) who hails from Brasilia, Brazil and Angel Serra(5 - 20 - 5) from Brasilia, Brazil.  Both Rapoza and Serra weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Serpa, and the three ringside judges are Antonio Mira, Hilario Saade and Frisco Pires.  

Round 1: 

Serra hits home with a left hook.  
Rapoza is looking to close the distance.  Serra pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Rapoza closes the distance and attempts to land a right uppercut, but Serra slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Rapoza sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Rapoza sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Serra is on target with a cross.  
Rapoza hits home with a right hook.  
Rapoza steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Rapoza advances into close range and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.

As Serra tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Rapoza has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
