Isidro Merced vs Diego Alcazar

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Santander promoted show at Iago Casto Gym, Floridablanca,  taking place on 16/02/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Santander Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Isidro Merced (10(5) - 2) who hails from Floridablanca, Colombia and Diego Alcazar(11 - 13(1) - 7) from Bucaramanga, Colombia.  Both Merced and Alcazar weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Desiderio Alcantar, and the three ringside judges are Loredo Basulto, Neper Cea and Rafael Casias.  

Round 1: 

Alcazar closes the distance.  Merced lands a left hook.  Merced ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Merced pushes his forearm into Alcazar's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Merced to stop fouling.
