Rex Sim vs Andy Mero

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Celebrity Theatre, Phoenix,  taking place on 23/02/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the USA-Arizona Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rex Sim (19(16) - 0 - 1(NC)) who hails from Yuma, USA and Andy Mero(15 - 11(1) - 1) from Mesa, USA.  Sim weighed in at 135 pounds, while Mero weighed in at 134 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rob Tarbet, and the three ringside judges are David Morgan, Richie Rezin and Hilario Marina.  

Round 1: 

Sim is on target with a stinging left hook to Mero's ribs.
