Ponce Mejias vs Manuel Jiron

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Guayas promoted show at Guayaquil Penaranda, Guayaquil,  taking place on 19/02/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ponce Mejias (20 - 15(5) - 4) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Manuel Jiron(23(2) - 9(4) - 4) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Both Mejias and Jiron weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Corzo, and the three ringside judges are Diego Ramirez, Zacarias Urdiales and Joaquin Juliana.
