Edmundo Montalto vs Miguel Pires

Boxing Daily Report from the Khumalo Promotions promoted show at Manaus Quintal, Manaus,  taking place on 22/02/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Brazil-Amazonas Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Esporte Interativo, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Edmundo Montalto (19 - 11(2) - 3) who hails from Manaus, Brazil and Miguel Pires(15(5) - 0) from Manaus, Brazil.  Both Montalto and Pires weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hilario Spinola, and the three ringside judges are Vidal Marta, Cortez Pires and Cortez Pires.  

Round 1: 

Pires steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Pires throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.
