Hajime Wakabayashi vs Hisao Jo

Boxing Daily Report from the Lampi Promotions promoted show at Hajime Go Gym, Sapporo,  taking place on 23/02/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hajime Wakabayashi (4 - 16 - 5) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Hisao Jo(14 - 5(1) - 1) from Sapporo, Japan.  Wakabayashi weighed in at 168 pounds, while Jo weighed in at 167 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Eiji Tanaka, and the three ringside judges are Jiro Ige, Raiden Takamoto and Yoshi Ige.  

Round 1: 

Wakabayashi closes the distance.  Jo digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents body.

Wakabayashi steps inside and throws a left hook, but Jo ties up his opponent.  Jo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Jo feints a cross and triggers a right uppercut counter from Wakabayashi.  Jo springs the trap, countering with  a left uppercut.
