Ellis Darnley vs Ian Paewai

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Cathey, Christchurch,  taking place on 26/02/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ellis Darnley (9 - 4 - 2) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Ian Paewai(15 - 11 - 4) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both Darnley and Paewai weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Noel Haxton, and the three ringside judges are Stephen Suite, Dave Pera and Corey Stobie.

Paewai advances into close range and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Paewai hits home with a right hook.  
Darnley lands a left hook.  
Darnley is looking to keep his distance.  Paewai lands a cross.
