Hercules Stamos vs Kuirilr Floros

Boxing Daily Report from the Michail Petras promoted show at Athens Georgopoulos, Athens,  taking place on 25/02/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Greece-Attica Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hercules Stamos (17 - 8 - 4) who hails from Athens, Greece and Kuirilr Floros(10(7) - 0) from Peristeri, Greece.  Both Stamos and Floros weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Phantasos Sica, and the three ringside judges are Damalis Vlahakis, Egidio Vlahakis and Eugene Loris.  

Round 1: 

Floros is looking to close the distance.  Floros pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Floros advances into close range.  Floros pivots from in front of his opponent.  Floros throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Floros ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Floros pushes his forearm into Stamos's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Floros sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  
Stamos pivots to the side of his opponent.  Floros lands two straights followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Floros steps inside and walks Stamos down, trapping him in a corner.  Floros hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  Floros ties up his opponent.  Floros leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Floros's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Floros pivots to the right of his opponent.  Floros lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Floros ties up his opponent.  Floros leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Floros pushes his forearm into Stamos's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Stamos steps to the outside.  Floros feints a cross, and then lands a sharp overhand left.  
Stamos leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Floros tries to tag Stamos on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Floros hits home with a solid left hook.  
Floros gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  Floros ties up his opponent.  Floros is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Floros is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Floros about fouling.

Floros sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Stamos throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Floros holds on to his opponent.  Stamos uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Floros's kidney. Stamos pushes his forearm into Floros's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Stamos about fouling.  
Floros attempts to land a left uppercut, but Stamos parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Floros lands a solid right hook.  
Floros is looking to close the distance and connects with a stinging left hook.  
Floros is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Floros lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Floros digs in a left hook to Stamos's body.  
Floros lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  Floros clinches his opponent.  Floros leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Stamos steps inside.  Floros throws a right uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Floros holds on to his opponent.  Floros leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Floros's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Floros lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Stamos's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Stamos's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Stamos's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

He's seen enough!  The winner by TKO is Floros!
