Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxers promoted show at UJ Stadium, Johannesburg,  taking place on 01/04/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on M-Net, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Thulani Shabangu (25(2) - 5(2) - 1) who hails from Johannesburg, South Africa and Naeem Assiful(22 - 0 - 1) from Pretoria, South Africa.  Shabangu weighed in at 135 pounds, while Assiful weighed in at 134 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lemme Van der Linde, and the three ringside judges are Zachary Du Toit, Peter Oosthuizen and Lisimba Jali.
