Jay Nkolola vs Mashawn Chelule

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxers promoted show at Independence Stadium, Lusaka,  taking place on 06/04/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Eastern African Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jay Nkolola (14(9) - 1(1)) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Mashawn Chelule(23(2) - 5(1) - 2) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Nkolola and Chelule weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rashon Mwanawasa, and the three ringside judges are Roshaun Mooka, Ben Chiputa and Luister Sitwala.  

Round 1: 

Nkolola lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Nkolola tries to land a cross, but Chelule slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.
