Dom Shadden vs Jay Peedin

Boxing Daily Report from the Raven Sports promoted show at Raven Gym, Macon,  taking place on 27/03/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Dom Shadden (2 - 0) who hails from Cape Coral, USA and Jay Peedin(2 - 1 - 1) from San Diego, USA.  Shadden weighed in at 245 pounds and 9 ounces, while Peedin weighed in at 256 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Leo Crowder, and the three ringside judges are Mick Sander, Edward Brand and Ewan Rodgers.  

Round 1: 

Shadden is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Peedin is on target with a cross to his opponents body.  
Peedin manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  Shadden lands a jab to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a jab to the head.

Peedin attempts to land a right hook, but Shadden blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Shadden tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a jab to Peedin's body.  
Shadden tries to step out of his opponents range.  Shadden sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands with a solid jab.  
Shadden lands a jab to the body followed by two overhand right's to the head.  
Peedin manouvers Shadden into the corner.  Shadden lands a left hook.

Peedin is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but Shadden ties up his opponent.  Peedin pushes his forearm into Shadden's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Peedin.  
Peedin walks Shadden down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Peedin lands a cross.  
Peedin steps inside.  Shadden hits home with a left hook.  
Shadden lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  As Peedin tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Shadden.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Peedin throws a left uppercut, but Shadden holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Shadden's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Shadden tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Shadden sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.
