Gus McIver vs Mark Speed

Boxing Daily Report from the Ililonga Promotions promoted show at Milwaukee Monaghan, Milwaukee,  taking place on 08/03/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Wisconsin Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gus McIver (16(4) - 3) who hails from Milwaukee, USA and Mark Speed(14 - 8(2) - 1) from Madison, USA.  McIver weighed in at 153 pounds and 2 ounces, while Speed weighed in at 153 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Justin Deer, and the three ringside judges are John Quirke, John McCleary and Theo Gwenn.  

Round 1: 

McIver feints a left, and then lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
McIver advances into close range and drives a firm left hook into Speed's ribs.  McIver ties up his opponent.  McIver pushes his forearm into Speed's face.  The referee warns McIver and breaks the clinch.  
McIver sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
McIver advances into close range and drives a right hook into Speed's body.  McIver holds on to his opponent.  McIver is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks McIver's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

McIver advances into close range and throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  McIver ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Speed tries to keep the action at long range.  McIver feints a right hook, and then is on target with a cross.  
McIver quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Speed throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
