Mason Montgomery vs Vikenti Volk

Boxing Daily Report from the Sizomu Promotions promoted show at Odessa Snegirev, Odessa,  taking place on 12/03/2034:

Clearly Sizomu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mason Montgomery (3 - 0) who hails from Yuma, USA and Vikenti Volk(2 - 3 - 1) from Kiev, Ukraine.  Both Montgomery and Volk weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Borya Gatsalov, and the three ringside judges are Krystiyan Novosel, Ioakim Wargo and Anton Danko.  

Round 1: 

Montgomery lands a jab to Volk's body.  
Volk switches the action to the outside.  Montgomery quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Montgomery is looking to close the distance.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Volk dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Volk tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Montgomery advances into close range.  Volk throws a right hook, but Montgomery ties up his opponent.  Montgomery is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Montgomery.  
Montgomery drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.

Volk steps away from his opponent and lands with a stinging jab.  
Montgomery pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a sharp cross.  
Montgomery gets on the inside and is on target with a solid right uppercut to his opponents body.  Montgomery holds on to his opponent.  Montgomery leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Montgomery pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Volk lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Montgomery lands a jab.  
Montgomery lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Montgomery is on target with a stinging left hook to Volk's liver.  Montgomery holds on to his opponent.  Montgomery is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Montgomery strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Montgomery advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.

Montgomery throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Montgomery about fouling.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Volk's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Volk's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Montgomery pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a jab to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a jab to the head.  
Volk tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand left.  
Montgomery gets on the inside.  Montgomery pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Montgomery digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Volk is looking to keep his distance.  Montgomery quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Montgomery lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Montgomery is on target with a left hook to Volk's liver.  
Montgomery closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Montgomery lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.
