Vicente Puerto vs Lei Shih

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Indiana Court, Caloocan,  taking place on 13/03/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Vicente Puerto (6 - 0) who hails from General Trias, Philippines and Lei Shih(2 - 2(1) - 1) from Xian, China.  Both Puerto and Shih weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alen Macairan, and the three ringside judges are Rico Cabatingan, Oleos Sagaran and Gig Puyat.  

Round 1: 

Puerto is looking to close the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Puerto holds on to his opponent.  Puerto pushes his forearm into Shih's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Puerto gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Puerto closes the distance.  Shih throws a left hook, but Puerto holds on to his opponent.  Puerto is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Puerto's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
