Ximen Lugo vs Sancho Ballesteros

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Coliseo Combarranquilla, Barranquilla,  taking place on 17/04/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ximen Lugo (9(6) - 1) who hails from Barranquilla, Colombia and Sancho Ballesteros(9(1) - 0) from Barranquilla, Colombia.  Both Lugo and Ballesteros weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Sarmiento, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Milan, Beltran Alvarado and Leonel Vasquez.  

Round 1: 

Lugo gets on the inside.  Lugo pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Lugo drives a stinging left hook into Ballesteros's ribs.  
Lugo throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Lugo is looking to close the distance.  Lugo lands a left hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lugo dabs at his face checking for damage.

Ballesteros steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a jab, but Lugo dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Lugo gets on the inside.  Ballesteros pivots from in front of his opponent.  Lugo connects with a sharp right hook.  
Ballesteros steps to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Lugo walks Ballesteros onto the ropes.  Lugo whips in a nasty right hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE BALLESTEROS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Ballesteros almost instantly recovers. 
Lugo is on target with a stinging right uppercut to Ballesteros's ribs.  Lugo clinches his opponent.  Lugo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Lugo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lugo lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Lugo holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Lugo pushes his forearm into Ballesteros's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Lugo about fouling.  Ballesteros quickly recovers. 
Lugo lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Lugo wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ballesteros dabs at his face checking for damage.  Ballesteros has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Ballesteros tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a firm overhand left.  
Lugo closes the distance.  Lugo pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a firm right uppercut to Ballesteros's ribs.  
Lugo manouvers Ballesteros onto the ropes.  Ballesteros connects with a right hook.  Lugo clinches his opponent.  Lugo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ballesteros is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Lugo sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Ballesteros throws an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook to Ballesteros's body.
