Onofre Leano vs Xaver Casares

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Argentina-Mendoza promoted show at Senon Rodiguez Gym, Mendoza,  taking place on 30/03/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Argentina-Mendoza Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Onofre Leano (5 - 11 - 7) who hails from Mendoza, Argentina and Xaver Casares(17 - 12(1) - 3) from Mendoza, Argentina.  Leano weighed in at 126 pounds, while Casares weighed in at 125 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Onofre Ciervo, and the three ringside judges are Oihane Millian, Fresco Melchor and Fraco Nieto.  

Round 1: 

Leano advances into close range.  Leano quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Leano tries to land a left hook, but Casares sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Casares closes the distance.  Leano pivots to the right of his opponent.  Casares lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Casares closes the distance and connects with a right hook.  Casares holds on to his opponent.  Casares throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Casares.  
Casares advances into close range and walks his opponent into a corner.  Casares pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Casares dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Casares quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a cross.
