Peter Strang vs Hugh Salton

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Vector Arena, Auckland,  taking place on 01/04/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Oceania Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Peter Strang (23(3) - 1(1)) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Hugh Salton(11(1) - 1) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Strang and Salton weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Corey Hopper, and the three ringside judges are Mark Kinzey, Mike Sproule and Max Weatherspoon.  

Round 1: 

Strang advances into close range.  Strang lands a left hook.
