Xalvador Lombardo vs Fanuco Mezo

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at El Polideportivo Ciudad Jard�n, Malaga,  taking place on 12/05/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal + Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xalvador Lombardo (13(12) - 0) who hails from Burgos, Spain and Fanuco Mezo(10 - 3(1) - 4) from Sabadell, Spain.  Lombardo weighed in at 153 pounds and 2 ounces, while Mezo weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rio Rita, and the three ringside judges are Noe Lima, Santiago Peinado and Esteban Basto.  

Round 1:

Mezo gets on the inside.  Lombardo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Lombardo lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  Lombardo ties up his opponent.  Lombardo pushes his forearm into Mezo's face.  The ref breaks Lombardo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lombardo switches the action to the outside.  Mezo tries to land a cross, but Lombardo slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Lombardo lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Lombardo tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a stinging cross to Mezo's body.  
Lombardo digs in a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mezo cuts off the ring, trapping Lombardo in the red corner.  Lombardo lands a straight 1 - 2.
