Ricky Umelo vs Gbolahan Obiekwu

Boxing Daily Report from the Kune Promotions promoted show at Ilorin Onuegbu, Ilorin,  taking place on 06/04/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Kwara State Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ricky Umelo (17(1) - 3 - 1) who hails from Ilorin, Nigeria and Gbolahan Obiekwu(9 - 14 - 2) from Offa, Nigeria.  Both Umelo and Obiekwu weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kamran Kalil, and the three ringside judges are Ikechukwu Chukwuemeka, Rabiu Udoobong and Akeem Nworah.
