Owen Merrick vs Bart Kitchings

Boxing Daily Report from the Awere Promotions promoted show at Louisville Evens, Louisville,  taking place on 06/04/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Kentucky Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Owen Merrick (26(7) - 13(1) - 3) who hails from Lexington, USA and Bart Kitchings(7 - 16(2) - 1) from Louisville, USA.  Merrick weighed in at 159 pounds and 14 ounces, while Kitchings weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Harkins, and the three ringside judges are Mark Coppin, Mark Coppin and Will Edington.  

Round 1: 

Merrick is on target with a firm left hook.
