Xavier Garcia vs Brett Drews

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at Charles J. Riley School (Public School No. 9), Paterson,  taking place on 04/05/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Xavier Garcia (1 - 0) who hails from Lima, Peru and Brett Drews(1 - 5 - 2) from Fresno, USA.  Both Garcia and Drews weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jamie Loudon, and the three ringside judges are Valentino Brunelli, Ewan McLoughlin and Sid Kellison.  

Round 1: 

Garcia retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Drews is whaling away with hooks, but Garcia keeps his defence tight.  Drews connects with a right hook.  
Drews switches the action to the outside and throws an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Garcia hits the target with a solid jab.  
Drews stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Garcia lands a jab followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Drews attempts to land a jab, but Garcia blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Drews attempts to land a right hook, but Garcia sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Drews steps away from his opponent.  Drews drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Garcia hits home with a cross.  
Garcia lands an overhand right.  
Drews is on target with a cross.  
Drews feints a jab, but Garcia does not fall for it and lands with a right uppercut.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Drews.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.  
Garcia drives a left uppercut into Drews's liver.  
Drews switches the action to the outside and attempts to land an overhand left, but Garcia sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Garcia steps inside.  Drews throws a left hook, but Garcia clinches his opponent.  Garcia leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Garcia pushes his forearm into Drews's face.  The ref breaks Garcia's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Drews pivots to the side of his opponent.  Garcia lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.
