Telford de Vigny vs Lee Naismith

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Milford Ice Pavillion, Waterbury,  taking place on 01/05/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Telford de Vigny (5(4) - 0) who hails from Quebec City, Canada and Lee Naismith(1 - 4(1)) from Norfolk, USA.  Both de Vigny and Naismith weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dave Rennick, and the three ringside judges are Peter Liddell, Ethan Boliver and Peter Liddell.  

Round 1: 

de Vigny gets on the inside.  Naismith throws a right hook, but de Vigny clinches his opponent.  de Vigny pushes his forearm into Naismith's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
de Vigny lands a jab to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Naismith is looking to keep his distance.  de Vigny hits home with a cross.  de Vigny tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
de Vigny steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  de Vigny ties up his opponent.  de Vigny pushes his forearm into Naismith's face.  The referee warns de Vigny and breaks the clinch.  
de Vigny is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  de Vigny holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, de Vigny pushes his forearm into Naismith's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures de Vigny about fouling.  
de Vigny throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  de Vigny clinches his opponent.  de Vigny is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Naismith throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
de Vigny lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
de Vigny lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
de Vigny lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
de Vigny senses Naismith is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  de Vigny whips in a hurtful right uppercut to his opponents body.  NAISMITH IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
de Vigny senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Naismith and just needs the right shot.  de Vigny lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS NAISMITH DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Naismith now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
de Vigny drives a right uppercut into Naismith's body.  
Naismith throws a left uppercut, but de Vigny ties up his opponent.  de Vigny hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
de Vigny connects with a solid left hook.  
de Vigny sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a firm left uppercut into Naismith's ribs.  
de Vigny is on target with a left hook to Naismith's ribs.  de Vigny holds on to his opponent.  de Vigny leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks de Vigny's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
de Vigny drives a solid left hook into Naismith's body.  
de Vigny forces Naismith to retreat into a corner.  de Vigny lands a spiteful jab.  de Vigny tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to de Vigny's ribcage.  
de Vigny gets on the inside and slams a nasty left hook into his opponents liver.  NAISMITH IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
de Vigny pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND NAISMITH IS KNOCKED DOWN!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is de Vigny!
