Kris Bonner vs Ian Cotts

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Kentucky promoted show at Louisville Owens, Louisville,  taking place on 06/04/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Kentucky Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kris Bonner (10 - 13(1) - 3) who hails from Louisville, USA and Ian Cotts(27(18) - 4(2) - 1) from Louisville, USA.  Both Bonner and Cotts weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Wayne Roberton, and the three ringside judges are Leon Prosser, Patrick Carnegie and Mark Slone.  

Round 1: 

Cotts gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Cotts clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Bonner steps away from his opponent and lands a jab.  
Cotts gets on the inside and is on target with a solid left hook.  
Bonner is looking to keep his distance.  Bonner feints a left hook, but Cotts ignores the feint and lands with a right uppercut.  
Bonner quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cotts digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.

Cotts feints a cross, and then lands a jab.  
Cotts gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.  
Cotts steps inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Cotts holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Cotts pushes his forearm into Bonner's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Cotts senses Bonner is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Cotts lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head, AND DROPS BONNER TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  He holds his fists up but stumbles into the referee! Bonner doesn't look like he's recovered at all.  The ref seems to thinks so as well...he's signalling that the fight is over!  The winner by TKO is Cotts!
