Matt Dorch vs Jae-sung Kang

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at National Stadium, Dublin,  taking place on 16/04/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matt Dorch (19(16) - 0) who hails from Ottawa, Canada and Jae-sung Kang(26 - 10(2) - 1) from Seoul, South Korea.  Both Dorch and Kang weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eoin McCadden, and the three ringside judges are Bradley MacGinnis, Joshua Higgins and Paul MacKenna.  

Round 1: 

Dorch steps inside and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  Dorch holds on to his opponent.  Dorch pushes his forearm into Kang's face.  The ref breaks Dorch's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Dorch lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Dorch is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Dorch manages to force Kang into a neutral corner.  Dorch drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  Dorch clinches his opponent.  Dorch is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Dorch sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Kang attempts to land a cross, but Dorch sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Dorch advances into close range and hits home with a solid left hook.  Dorch ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Dorch pushes his forearm into Kang's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Dorch lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Dorch steps to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Dorch advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Kang almost instantly recovers. 
Kang throws a right hook, but Dorch holds on to his opponent.  Dorch is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Dorch to stop fouling.  
Dorch steps inside and drives a firm right hook into Kang's body.  Dorch clinches his opponent.  Dorch uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Kang behind the head. Dorch is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Dorch to stop fouling.  Dorch tries to land a left hook, but Kang blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Dorch finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Dorch gets on the inside and whips in a hurtful right uppercut to his opponents body.  KANG IS HURT!  
Dorch is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Dorch crashes a big right uppercut to his opponents body.  KANG HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  It looks like Kang has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Kang throws a left hook, but Dorch holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Dorch is looking to close the distance.  Dorch pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Dorch lands a jab to Kang's body.  
Dorch is looking to close the distance and drives a stinging right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Dorch manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Dorch digs in a solid right hook to Kang's body.  
Dorch is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Dorch is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, DROPPING KANG TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kang's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Kang's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Kang's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Dorch advances into close range.  Dorch is on target with a left hook to Kang's body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kang dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Dorch lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Dorch holds on to his opponent.  Dorch throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Dorch tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Kang's kidney. Dorch is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Dorch uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Kang behind the head. The ref breaks Dorch's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
