Dom Axtell vs Connor Gory

Boxing Daily Report from the Skol Promotions promoted show at Papatoetoe Cosmopolitan Club, Auckland,  taking place on 12/04/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand-Auckland Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dom Axtell (20(1) - 9(1) - 1) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Connor Gory(20 - 9 - 1) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Axtell and Gory weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Colin Lawder, and the three ringside judges are Ollie Scobie, Matthew Chisholm and Robert Smillie.  

Round 1: 

Gory is looking to close the distance.  Gory quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.
